POSITIONS VACANT – Conditions (April 17, 2017)

1. i). Applicants for the positions of Director/Professor, Professor, Professorial Research Fellow, Associate Professor, Principal Research Fellow are required to submit four copies of the applications/dossiers alongwith detailed CV and a soft copy of dossier in PDF form (CD/DVD) with a Pay Order, Bank Draft or paid Challan (only HBL, QAU branch) for Rs.2000/- (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University should reach the office of the Assistant Registrar (Establishment) QAU, Islamabad for Professor/Director Posts  and to concerned Centers/Institutes for all remaining posts within 30 days from the date of this advertisement.

ii). Applicants for other teaching and non-teaching positions are required to submit Two Copies of Application/Dossiers on the prescribed proforma.

2. Applications from abroad may be sent alongwith US $ 100 as application fee.
3. The candidates applying under both systems (TTS/BPS) should submit separate applications alongwith complete documents together with required pay order, bank draft etc, for each application.

5. Applicants already working in Government / Semi-Government Organizations / Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, failing which their applications will not be entertained. The University may entertain advance copies, if clearly mentioned.
6. The selected candidates will be governed by the Quaid-i-Azam University / respective Centers’ Service Statutes and rules / regulations amended from time to time.
7. Those who have previously applied for a position should apply afresh.
8. The University/Centers/Institutes reserve the rights to increase/decrease the number of positions not to fill any position/withhold the appointment against any advertised position or to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
9. Applications that are incomplete (in any case) or received after due date shall not be entertained.
10. Candidates applying for positions must attach the documents with signature.
11. In case of Assistant Professor and Research Fellow cum Assistant Professor only short listed candidates will be called for aptitude test (if applicable), lecture/seminar and interview.
12. All applications are treated as confidential documents and will be shredded one year after an appointment is made.
13. All teaching posts are to be filled on open merit basis.
14. Decision of the University/respective Centers/Institutes shall be binding in all cases.
