Introduction and General Rules
The National Institute of Pakistan Studies (NIPS) offers a four years BS in Pakistan Studies. The BS Pakistan Studies degree program is designed to provide a broad range of courses that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of the study. It offers well-rounded curriculum that focuses on the holistic development of students and orients them to different fields of social sciences in general and Pakistan Studies in particular. The admissions to BS 4-years programme at the Institute are invited from all over Pakistan and are made on the basis of regional quota (Regular) and on Self-Finance as well. The admissions are announced once a year (normally in Fall Semester).

8. Criteria for Offering of Minor(s)
- Students will be given an option to select One Minor from the approved list.
- Department/School can restrict the options as per its requirements.
- Minimum enrollments in each minor should be 12.
- Minors will be offered from 5th semester (one course in each semester 5th to 8th).
